T20 World Cup 2021: India vs Scotland Probable XI

Topic: T20 World Cup 2021

India to face Scotland on the 37th Match of the T20 World Cup 2021 at 8 pm Bangladeshi time Tonight.

India's destiny is not fully in their control, but they must win big in their next two games to improve their just-positive net run rate. Scotland will not qualify, but a statement against a top-tier side will not damage their reputation as a better Associate side looking to compete with the big boys.

They performed really well on Wednesday, pushing New Zealand close in a massive chase and giving them the shivers for a spell. One large partnership, one better death over, one modest push - that's how near they were to pulling off an upset that would have gained them many Indian admirers.

If they can maintain that momentum and keep India at bay, it would be a massive leap for them - but it may not help much with Indian supporters.

It's all fairly obvious. For India, a strong victory is a must; they don't want to leave too much distance to make up in the last game against Namibia, should Afghanistan beats New Zealand. Scotland has done well, very well, throughout the years, but they will not get the attention that they would if they defeat India. That is sufficient reason.
