Eight men, who has half of the world’s wealth!

Merely eight men own as much riches as the poorest 50% of our planet population do! A new report from Oxfam has revealed this shocking information. Among these men, Microsoft’s chairman - Bill Gates and creator of Facebook - Mark Zuckerberg is present too. Like always, Bill Gates is still on the first position, while Mark Zuckerberg sits on the 6th spot this year.

Serially on the list: Bill Gates leads the list with the net worth of 75 billion US dollars. Amancio Ortega Gaona comes second, with 67 billion US dollars. Warren E. Buffett comes next with $60.8 billion. The fourth position is taken by Carlos Slim Helú with half-a-hundred billion. The founder of Amazon, Jeff Bezos, is fifth with $45.2 billion. Mark Zuckerberg, with $44.6 billion, is on the 6th position. The final two on the list are Lawrence J. Ellison and Michael R. Bloomberg, with $43.6 billion & $40 billion following. Now you know who the aliens will abduct first!

Jokes aside, Oxfam’s report titled ‘An economy for the 99 percent’ has informed that between 1988 and 2011, the incomes of the richest 1 percent grew 182 times more while poorest 10 percent increased by only $65 per person.

Oxfam Australia’s Chief Executive Dr. Helen Szoke said, “The situation is worse than thought about the global property. So now it's time for all the businessmen to do something.”

Executive Chairman of the World Economy Forum, Laos Shoaib said, “This is the same topic that was discussed 20 years ago in the forum. Hence as a leader, they should respond.”
